Lawson Made His Presence Known in Marmaton Valley's 46-0 Win
Starting off the list is Marmaton Valley's Brayden Lawson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawson threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Lawson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Crest on Friday. Lawson threw for 198 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 passes the last time he and the Lancers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jaedon Granere Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jaedon Granere produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Marmaton Valley to the win on Friday. Granere wasn't messing around, picking up 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The matchup was his fourth straight with two or more receiving touchdowns dating back to last season.
This year, Granere has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 70.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 46.2 receiving yards per game.
