After two games on the road, Jefferson is heading back home. They will take on the Three Forks Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Jefferson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Jefferson humbled Sweet Grass County with a 73-42 victory. With that win, Jefferson brought their scoring average up to 59.5 points per game.
Dalton Noble was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Jefferson's points. Another player making a difference was Colt Tietje, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Three Forks, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-48 loss to Malta on Saturday. Three Forks has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jefferson's victory bumped their season record to 2-0 while Sweet Grass County's defeat dropped theirs to 0-3.
Everything went Jefferson's way against Three Forks when the teams last played back in January as Jefferson made off with a 70-46 win. Does Jefferson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Three Forks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
