Meanwhile, Boulder City owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They blew past Sports Leadership & Management 8-0. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to Rhiley Beck's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Payton Rogers was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Cook, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fernley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. However, it's not like Boulder City struggles in that department as they've averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Fernley was able to grind out a solid victory over Boulder City in their previous meeting back in March, winning 7-2. Will the Vaqueros repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
