The West Lauderdale Knights's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They slipped by Enterprise 48-47. The victory was just what West Lauderdale needed coming off of a 65-37 defeat in their prior match.
Loss or not, Enterprise got some senior leadership from Makayla Sullivan who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and emma hill who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Hill scored a full 36.2% of Enterprise's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
West Lauderdale's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Lauderdale will challenge Aberdeen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Enterprise, they will head out on the road to face off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
