Central Catholic had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the East Union Lancers. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Stephanie Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Ceriah Fitzhugh was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazmarie Roberts, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Central Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Central Catholic pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for East Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Central Catholic beat the Lancers by a score of 11-4 later that day.
