After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Ignacio finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bayfield Wolverines. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Ignacio saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William M, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. M is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Ignacio's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Bayfield, their record is now 5-10.

Coming up, Ignacio will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedaredge at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bayfield, they will take on Pagosa Springs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
