McIntosh fought the good fight in their overtime  game against Northgate  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Northgate Vikings  53-47.  It was another big night for  Deasia Stinson, who  dropped  a double-double on 20  points and 13  boards for Northgate. The  contest was  Stinson's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Thalia Caines, who  went 6 of 10 on her way to 13 points in addition to seven  rebounds and three  steals.
McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northgate, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
 McIntosh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  72-18  defeat against Morrow on the 7th. Northgate has also  already played their next game,  a  62-48  loss against East Coweta on the 7th.
