It was a proper cat-fight when Hernando challenged DeSoto Central on Thursday. Everything went the Hernando Tigers' way against the DeSoto Central Jaguars as the Hernando Tigers made off with a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit DeSoto Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emery Allison (2), Karis Herman, Katelyn Hilario, and Rosa Ibarra.

The victory made it two in a row for Hernando and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1. As for DeSoto Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hernando and Horn Lake will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hernando is facing Horn Lake at the right time seeing as Horn Lake is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for DeSoto Central, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lewisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewisburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
