The Johnson Jaguars will face off against the O'Connor Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Johnson's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Johnson took on Clark on Friday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 42-30. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Elvis Estrada, who threw for 182 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 165.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Johnson proved: they limited Clark to a paltry 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Tyler Willis for the heroic effort on defense: he. Johnson didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.6.
Johnson's defense didn't let Isaiah Santillan, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Elijah Guajardo with three. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, O'Connor unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. The matchup between the Panthers and Taft didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 46-32.
Johnson will need to focus on slowing down Riley Eason, one of several O'Connor players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 114 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Cash Manis, who rushed for 124 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
O'Connor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Johnson, their record now sits at 10-0.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Johnson has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 195.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like O'Connor struggles in that department as they've been averaging 182.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything went Johnson's way against O'Connor when the teams last played back in September of 2023, as Johnson made off with a 47-21 win. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
