The Central Lake Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Forest Area Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Lake is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
Central Lake pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The matchup between them and Bellaire wasn't particularly close, with Central Lake falling 71-56. While losing is never fun, Central Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Eagles are ranked 246th).
Meanwhile, Forest Area's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 51-33 bruising from Inland Lakes.
Central Lake has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Forest Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
