The Wilson Prep Tigers stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 83-44 win over KIPP P. The win was just what Wilson Prep needed coming off of a 78-52 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilson Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Hicks, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Dickens, who scored 14 points.
Wilson Prep has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for KIPP P, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Wilson Prep will head out on the road to square off against Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Warren County: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Wilson Prep has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. KIPP P will take on Rocky Mount Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. KIPP P is facing Rocky Mount Prep at the right time seeing as Rocky Mount Prep is stuck on a eight-game losing streak.
