Baseball Recap: Lincoln Lutheran Has No Trouble Against Raymond Central

After only two runs in their last match, Lincoln Lutheran made sure to put some runs up on the board against Raymond Central on Monday. Lincoln Lutheran put the hurt on Raymond Central with a sharp 13-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Kruz Fiddler was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Lincoln Lutheran got a massive performance out of Dawson Guerber, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Guerber a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolt Fiddler, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

Lincoln Lutheran was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Raymond Central only posted a batting average of .174.

Lincoln Lutheran now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Lincoln Lutheran will venture away from home to face off against Falls City at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Raymond Central, they have already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Seward on the 25th.
