Despite their loss, East Tech saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cleveland Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for East Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
East Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Cleveland Central Catholic in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 73-62.
