The Kings Christian Crusaders had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.8 points), and they went ahead and made it 15 on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 53-35 victory over Riverdale Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kings Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Ronnie Roche, who scored 29 points along with four steals. The game was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyas Miro, who scored nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Kings Christian pushed their record up to 15-1 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Riverdale Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-4.
Kings Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Parlier at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th. Parlier is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Riverdale Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Laton at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully Laton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
