Brennan Lindner Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Pleasanton got the W thanks in part to Brennan Lindner playing the best football he has all season. Lindner rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 69 yards.

Jaysen Cronin was instrumental in extending Pleasanton's winning streak to eight on Friday. West Holt had no answer to Cronin as he picked up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

South Loup's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Paulsen and South Loup will face off against Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Connell Made His Presence Known in Sandhills Valley's 26-22 Victory
Sandhills Valley found a leader in Leyton Connell as the team took down Arcadia/Loup City on Friday. Connell was dynamite, rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
On the year, Connell has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 143.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 4.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.57 rushing yards.
