Munford lost to Millington Central last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Munford Cougars came out on top against the Millington Central Trojans by a score of 49-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Millington Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arianna Whiten, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayanna Ransom, who had eight points.

Munford's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Millington Central, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10.

Munford will square off against Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millington Central, they will be playing at home against Craigmont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
