Breathitt County's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Lee County. Breathitt County hasn't had any issues with Lee County recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Blake Hudson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Breathitt County is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 6-8 otherwise. Hudson was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Jake Fugate looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Breathitt County: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Miles Hollon was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Breathitt County is undefeated when Hollon posts two or more runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Sebastian Howard was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Breathitt County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. The last time their OBP was this high was April 2nd.
Meanwhile, Leslie County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Jackson County, falling 15-9.
Caden Shepherd put in work no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Rylan Simpson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kendrick Joseph, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Breathitt County now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Leslie County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
