Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Antonio, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Antonio is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Chris Rodrigues was another key player, putting up six points.
Zaire Hopson was his usual excellent self, posting 16 points in addition to seven assists and five boards for Roselle. Hopson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcus Beneche, who posted eight points and three steals.
Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Roselle, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
