Baseball Recap: Ringgold Wins Going Away Against Laurel Highlands

While Ringgold put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Laurel Highlands. The Rams were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Sam Allen, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Gavin Angotti was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

The win got Ringgold back to even at 9-9. As for Laurel Highlands, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Coming up, Ringgold will be playing in front of their home fans against Yough at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. Laurel Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
