Model had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Central Chargers 33-30. The win was nothing new for the Blue Devils as they're now sitting on six straight.

Model pushed their record up to 23-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-6.

Looking ahead, Model will face off against Lamar County on Tuesday. Lamar County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Model surely won't give up without a fight. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
