In what's become a running theme this season, Mill Creek gave their fans yet another huge victory last Thursday. They breezed by Milburn on the road to the tune of 67-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Mill Creek has posted since December 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma School for the Deaf came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged Illinois School for the Deaf out 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Oklahoma School for the Deaf has posted yet this season.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from RyJan Reininger, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Reininger hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Russell Fewel was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Mill Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
