After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hurley, Crane was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Verona Wildcats with a sharp 17-2 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Crane has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Verona, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Crane has already played their next contest (against Hurley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Verona, they will take on Exeter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.08 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
