Vintage's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Macpherson, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Macpherson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Hearn, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Vintage has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for American Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
Vintage will head out on the road to take on the Gauchos at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Casa Grande's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Crushers have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. American Canyon will take on the Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Justin-Siena will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
