Murray has gone 8-1 against Hillcrest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will face off against the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. Murray is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Murray had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt Cottonwood on Tuesday. The Spartans put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 8-0 victory. Murray's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Their offense was hitting Cottonwood from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Anthony Guerra led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Hillcrest was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of Stansbury by a score of 2-1.

Murray's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Hillcrest, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Murray beat Hillcrest by a goal when the teams last played on April 1st, winning 2-1. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
