Corinth started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.
Abby Proctor paced Corinth's offense, picking up six kills. Proctor got some help from Valerie Hunt and her 13 assists. Lauren Rhodes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Riley Huck was her usual excellent self, getting 30 digs for Warrensburg. Huck has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more digs the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Genna Lehocki, who had nine kills, three aces, and two blocks.
Corinth dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Warrensburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.
