The Tuslaw Mustangs entered their tilt with the Fairless Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Tuslaw walked away with a 46-35 victory over Fairless on Wednesday. Given Tuslaw's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Fairless is ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tuslaw was led to victory by Breanna Mccabe and Destiny Dulkoski. Mccabe dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Dulkoski dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Dulkoski has scored at least 25% of Tuslaw's points. Emma Rowbotham was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Tuslaw's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fairless, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Tuslaw will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Northwest at 1:30 p.m. As for Fairless, they will head out on the road to face off against Triway at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Triway is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
