Hi-Plains' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.
Everything went Hi-Plains' way against Rocky Mountain Lutheran when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as Hi-Plains made off with a 54-28 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Rocky Mountain Lutheran's Cy Borchardt, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 blocks.
