Pikes Peak Christian entered their tilt with Thomas MacLaren School on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Highlanders.  Despite the loss, Thomas MacLaren School still got an impressive performance from   Layla Lucero, who  had nine  digs and two  aces.  Hannah Templin also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Pikes Peak Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Thomas MacLaren School,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.
 Looking ahead, Pikes Peak Christian will take on Hanover at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will challenge Atlas Preparatory School at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
