It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the San Juan Hills Stallions had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past St. Francis with points to spare, taking the game 37-18. The win made it back-to-back wins for San Juan Hills.
San Juan Hills found their leader in underclassman Timmy Herr, who threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Robinson Jr., who gained 67 total yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, St. Francis still got an impressive performance from John Calmette, who gained 115 total yards and a touchdown.
San Juan Hills' win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for St. Francis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
San Juan Hills will head out on the road to face off against Citrus Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Citrus Valley will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
