It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact L.C. Bird can now relate to. The contest between them and the Briar Woods Falcons didn't end well, with the L.C. Bird Skyhawks falling 28-14. The Skyhawks' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, L.C. Bird still got an impressive performance from Jason Wright, who rushed for 19 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 113 yards on 11 of 17 attempts.

Brady Carmical continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Briar Woods, rushing for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Those 147 rushing yards gave Carmical a new career-high.

L.C. Bird's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Briar Woods, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

L.C. Bird does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Briar Woods, they will square off against Maury at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Maury will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Briar Woods surely won't give up without a fight.
