Swanton came out on top against Tinora on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Rams 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Swanton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tinora, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7-1.

Swanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tinora, they will square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Apaches' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
