Basketball Game Preview: Sunbright Tigers vs. Harriman Blue Devils

Sunbright hasn't had much luck against Harriman recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sunbright Tigers will square off against the Harriman Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Sunbright is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season.

Sunbright is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy on Tuesday. Sunbright blew past Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, posting a 73-39 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 34 points or more this season.

Noah Bunch and Garrett Rogers were among the main playmakers for Sunbright as the former posted 24 points and the latter put up 24 points. Rogers' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Walker, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, Harriman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oliver Springs.

Harriman now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Sunbright, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3.

Sunbright came up short against Harriman in their previous meeting back in November, falling 59-55. Can Sunbright avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
