Soccer Game Preview: East Davidson vs. Lexington

East Davidson has gone 9-1 against Lexington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Golden Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m.

East Davidson fell victim to West Davidson and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The loss continues a trend for East Davidson in their meetings with West Davidson: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Lexington made sure to put some goals up on the board against Thomasville on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 7-2 win. The result was nothing new for Lexington, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lexington pushed their record up to 7-4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matches. As for East Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
