Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Brandon Bulldogs walked away with it. They took down Pearl 42-25 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Brandon sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Brandon can attribute much of their success to Tyson Robinson, who rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns. Robinson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Jay Mcqueen also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Brandon's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Pearl, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Brandon will take on Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Pearl does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
