Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Amundsen blew Lindblom out of the water with a 65-14 final score. That 51 points margin sets a new team best for Amundsen this season.
Hannah Lopez had a dynamite game for Amundsen, scoring 22 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lopez has scored all season. Charlii Lopez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Amundsen and bumps their season record up to 11-15. As for Lindblom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amundsen will take on Perspectives/IIT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lindblom, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Park is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
