B & B extended the longest winning streak in Twin Valley (8 Man) this week by beating Caldwell, 48-0. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Falcons.
Axtell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Eagles came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
B & B's Dustin Rottinghaus and Cameron Haug have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rottinghaus has thrown for 685 yards this season, while Haug, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 26 catches for 373 yards. Lucas Adams from Frankfort leads the league in rushing with 931 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Hanover and Justin Coup's team. The Wildcats comes into the matchup ranked ninth in the state, while the Falcons ranks third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Hanover takes on B & B. Matt Heuer's team has allowed 182 points this season, while the Falcons have given up 98. The Wildcats allowed 0 points last week as they defeated Chase.
Hanover took down the Kats 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
