Sheehan extended the longest winning streak in Southern Connecticut Division II - East this week by beating Lyman Hall, 54-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Titans.
Sheehan took down the Trojans 54-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jeremy Gannon threw for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 29 yards in the win.
Nick Weissauer was the best wideout in the league this week as Foran topped Law. Weissauer tallied 4 receptions for 101 yards. Sean Deegan helped Foran's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 34 yards.
5-foot-8 quarterback Jake Kasuba of the Lions is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,918. He has also thrown 27 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Brandon Gauthier. The Sheehan star has 62 catches for 1,205 yards.
He has recorded 40 catches for 912 yards this year.
North Haven made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,244 from 2,694. The advance stemmed from a 41-14 victory over Amity Regional last week.
