Stevenson Posts Huge Game in 17-14 Loss
Starting off the list is Northglenn's Josiah'Ez Stevenson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stevenson rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
Stevenson and Northglenn will challenge Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Norsemen had to take a loss when they last met the Mustangs, but Stevenson had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Kiewiet Made His Presence Known in Westminster's 28-15 Victory
Mason Kiewiet put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 204 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 175 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes.
Kiewiet must have Mountain Range's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Kiewiet threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Dejay Davenport and Co. Win Third in a Row
Overland picked up their third consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Dejay Davenport. Davenport was unstoppable, picking up 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Overland: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
The win got Overland back to even at 4-4. Davenport will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Boulder on Friday.

On Thursday, Overland got the W thanks in part to Avante Hendrix playing the best football he has all season. Hendrix picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
