On Friday Central Falls take on Pilgrim at 7:00 PM. Pilgrim will need to watch out since Central Falls have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Saturday, Central Falls put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout to the tune of 52-14. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-0.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Pilgrim weren't quite Ponaganset's equal in the second half when they met. Pilgrim found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-33 punch to the gut against Ponaganset.
Central Falls's win lifted them to 3-0 while Pilgrim's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. In Central Falls's win, senior Dutchie Arroyo caught passes for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns and senior Jordan Alvarado rushed for 125 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if Pilgrim have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
