Longview won the last time they faced Rusk and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Longview Lobos breezed by the Rusk Eagles to the tune of 63-26. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Longview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jailiyah Rockmore out in front who went 7 of 13 on her way to 19 points and five rebounds. Rockmore is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paris Simpson, who posted six points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Longview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive contests.

Longview's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Rusk, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Longview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-45 victory against Rockwall-Heath on the 3rd. As for Rusk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-32 loss against Bullard on the 3rd.
