Davidson Academy barely beat Goodpasture Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Cougars on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Davidson Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Goodpasture Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davidson Academy will square off against Christ Presbyterian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goodpasture Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Goodpasture Christian Cougars challenge Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
