V.R. Eaton lost to Trinity back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The V.R. Eaton Eagles claimed a resounding 55-22 victory over the Trinity Trojans. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

V.R. Eaton's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Trinity, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. V.R. Eaton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Timber Creek at 11:45 a.m. on December 31st. As for Trinity, they will take on Poteet in a tournament on Friday.
