Even though the Barker Bulldogs scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Medina Mustangs still came out on top. Medina secured a 59-55 W over Barker. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Medina.
Leading Medina to victory were Jerrell Nealy and Christian Moss. Nealy scored 20 points along with eight rebounds, while Moss dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Moss scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Cole Callard, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Medina's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Barker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Medina will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wilson at 6:30 p.m. As for Barker, they will head out on the road to face off against Royalton-Hartland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
