The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Allen, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
 Oak Park-River Forest has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.
 Tuesday's   match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. York hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .331.
