Despite the loss, Sheridan Hills Christian had strong showings from Lily Carrington, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and eight steals, and Elizabeth Spee, who scored seven points along with five steals. Spee also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Makalya Nobel, who scored two points along with eight rebounds.
Sheridan Hills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for FAU High, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-6-1.
Sheridan Hills Christian will take on Jewish Culture at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for FAU High, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Worth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Worth is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
