Liberty hasn't had much luck against Mountain View recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will face off against the Toros at 3:45 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Liberty comes in on three and Mountain View on four.
Liberty's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over O'Connor.

Mckinley Duce
| 03/26/26 vs O'Connor | 7 |
| 03/24/26 vs Mountain Ridge | 7 |
| 03/20/26 vs Canyon View | 8 |
| 03/12/26 vs Willow Canyon | 8 |
The result came thanks to Mckinley Duce's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Liberty's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Voilet Mitchell, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Addison Hinant also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Meanwhile, Mountain View made easy work of Dobson on Monday and carried off a 21-1 victory. The Toros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.
Kylynn Sylvester was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Keelie Goodman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
Mountain View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .639. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .353 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Liberty's record now sits at 11-6. As for Mountain View, their record is now 11-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Liberty hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Liberty came up short against Mountain View in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
