The Pearce Mustangs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They strolled past MacArthur with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. The victory was just what Pearce needed coming off of a 59-35 defeat in their prior matchup.
Pearce's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedy Walters, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Tatum Vroonland was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The win got Pearce back to even at 12-12. As for MacArthur, they bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearce the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Berkner at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. MacArthur will take on Irving at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Irving is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
