Bartlett Yancey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Sidney, who scored 19 points. Sidney has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kelmontrae Willis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
It was another big night for Nate Emerson, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds for Seaforth. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Emerson has scored all season. Matthew Lucas was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Bartlett Yancey has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Seaforth, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Graham the next time they take the court. Bartlett Yancey will host Graham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Seaforth will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
