Video: Jet sweep direct snap goes for score
Mekel Kentle makes the most of his first carry of the year. It's called the jet sweep, but the
Robinson (Little Rock, Ark.) Senators ran a supersonic version Friday night.
It looks a bit like a sideways "centipede" formation, made famous last season by Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and a
Texas high school team.
The innovative play was made even more special by what
Mekel Kentle did after taking the snap during his team's 64-0 win over Baptist Prep. It was his first carry of the season.
The Senators are 3-0 and average nearly 50 points per game.
