The Flinthills Mustangs won the last time they faced the Chase Kats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Flinthills breezed by Chase on the road to the tune of 64-14. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-10.
Flinthills' win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Chase, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Flinthills will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fairfield focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Thursday. Chase is on the road again on Friday and play against Otis-Bison.
